Washington Joins Clean-Up Before Garden Week Tour
The Town Council of Washington has announced that the town will again sponsor a “clean-up campaign”. The ladies of the town government were so pleased with the program last year, stating that the citizens, business firms, and organizations co-, operated so willingsly, that the result was mo9t gratifying.
Garden ,Gub Week of tour, which attracts visitors to Virginia, begins April 26, so Washington’s clean-up day is set for April 25, Friday, at ■which time it is hoped the clean-up will be complete.
