The Commissioner’s Sale of 133 acres owned by the late R. (3. Parish of Amissville brought $5200.00 and was bought by Leslie A. Rawlings of Amissville.
The sale was held yesterday moming l>efore the Courthouse at 11 o’clock, following advertisement as a conjjnissioner’s sale.

Baumgardner and daughter, Mary, pf Culpeper, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Liilard of Falls Church were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Petty and Mrs. Kate Petty. Mrs. C. H. Petty and baby son, James Franklin, have returned home from Front Royal hospital.
