help in each of their communities for church services for Rural Life Sunday. The group decided to have a dance as entertainment and appointed the following committee tc make plans: Margaret Arrowood, ~John Turner, Carlyle Lea, and Pauline Jenkins. The girls completed project records and discussed new projects they would like to take.
Belle Meade 4-H met Thursday with Betty Sisk presiding. The club voted to take a contribution from supper fund for National 4-H Center in Washington. Rachel Deal was appointed to be in charge of program in May. The girls completed records on project "So you’d like to sew” and received more help on making gathered skirts.
Sperryville H.D. met Thursday with Mrs. George Taylor. Plans were made concerning an assembly on Citizenship to be given at both schools in May. Also a trip to Washington to see Congress in action was discussed. Mrs. Taylor helped the ladies to put on wall attachments and lamp sockets.
Shite Mills H.D. met Tuesday evening with Misses Virginia and Lizzie Miller. Mrs. L. R. Hudson plans to attend district meeting in Noksville May 1 and four members. plah to go to ^Washington, D.C A demonstration was on the repairing of electric cords and small appliances, ^ two electric irofts being repaired at the meeting, *•
F.T. Vally H.D. met with Mrs. Jean Gallihugh on Thursday, April 10, with Mrs. Eddie Gore presiding. Mrs Gallihugh read as devotionals the parable of the sower. All members present decided to go to Washington, D.C., on the trip. Repairing of electrical cords and small equipment was demonstrated by the agent
