RE, BE~ SOLVED, that we,- the Rappahannock County Democrats, assembled in mass meeting at the County Court House on this, the 15th day of April, 1952, do endorse the candidacy of Hon. Burr P. Harrison and 'urge the citizens of Rappahannock county and the 7th Virginia Congressional District to support his candidacy in the coming district convention and general election.

Delegates named to the District ^Convention in Harrisonburg, May 3 were: Robert Cook, H. S. Barksdale, E. W. Gore, H. W. Gallihugh, E. M. Jones, Bruce Bovrie, David Corbin, and J P. Snead, with alternates J. W. Fletcher, P. L. Thornton, Earl B. Combs, Wade H. Massie, Jr., A. C. Latham, W. G. Eastham, Bru Wood, and Charles Cloud.

The delegates were instructed to vote as a unit at the convention. Delegates named for the Roanoke state Convention, July 17, were E.

and Wade H. Massie, Jr., with alternates Downing Wood, James W. Fletcher, P. L. Thornton, Robert Cook, David Corbin, J. P. Snead, Earl B. Combs, and A. C. Latham.
