Pvt. and Mrs. John T. Cloud were Sunday guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Cloud. Other guests in the Cloud home were Pvt. Irvin <H. Whorton and Cpl. Charles W. Compton of Indian* town Gap, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Jack Bruce and family spent the tweek-end in Washington, D. C. with her mother, Mrs. Lucy W. Hawkins.
Miss Mattie is spending this week with Mrs. John Johnson who has been suffering with a deep cold.
Giles Campbell of Huntly and Thomas L. Thornhill of Boston left April 15, for the armed forces.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, Edna Yates and Susan were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. H. Gordon Payne and son, Joe in Madison.* They all attended Easter Services at Heborn Luthern church.
Miss Nellie Johnson returned Monday afternoon after spending the Easter Holiday with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sill in Arlington.
Mrs. Allen Johnson, who has been in Florida for several weeks for her health, returned Monday and resumed her duties as Home Economics teacher in Rappahannock High School.
