Pennsylvanians Purchase “Dolmont” Farm
William H. Smith and wife, Mrs. Martha K. Smith, of Dublin, Pennsylvania, have purchased “Dolmont,” from W. B. Dolph. The Dolphs acquired the farm from the late Russel Wood- Mr. Dolph reserved about 23 acres with a small house across the Lee Highway from the Dolmont house. ~
On Saturday, April 12, W. B. Dolph and Paul Zinn, manager, successfully sold at public auction some household and kitchen furniture, farm machinery, and livestock.
Mr. and Mrs. Dolph have pur* chased an estate near Charlottesville where they expect to make their permanent home.
Poll Tax Deadline May 3
May 8 is the last day to pay your capitation tax in order to vote in the primary and the November election. Capitation taxes should be paid at the treasurer’s office, Washington, on or before, Saturday, May 3.
