Blue Ridge Music Workshop
Begins August 3
Students from 31 Old Dominion_ counties will participate in the Second Blue Ridge Music Workshop, according to announcement from the Blue Ridge Music Festival Association, who sponsor the school of music each summer- in conjunction with Sunday afternoon open air concerts at Avon Mills on the Rush River in Washington, Virginia. __Added enrollments have caused the 'Association to lease the Stuyvesant School for Boys in nearby Warrenton for this season's musical training course. Another addition to this year’s student program is an expanded study course that begins on ^- August 4' and runs for four full weeks. Although registration has been set for August 3 and 4 at Stuyvesant School, applications are being received until July 20 at Virginia Symphony Orchestra headquarters at 304 West Franklin Street in Richmond.
