-Mrs. Silas Bruce, who has been the guest for several weeks of relatives in Front Royal, has returned fb the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Brown.

Mrs. Kathleen Dodson and her two daughters, Linda Lou and Dorothy Lee are visiting her sister, Mrs. Johnnie Black in White Marsh, Maryland.

Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Kilby entertained at a picnic supper on their lawn on July 4 at 6 o’clock. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Davis and family Mrs. Fred- Schaefer and their two daughters; Mr. and Mrs. James William Fletcher ind their daughters; Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown Jr and their small daughter, Susan, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Peachie and David Lyne, Mrs. H. O. Lyne, Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Kilby, and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Martinsburg, West Virginia spent the holiday weekend with Mrs. Annie M. ’Welch. On Friday night in the M. E. Church, a miscellaneous shower was ’given Mrs. Martin. There were about 40 guests present and the honoree received many lovely gifts. Punch and cake were served to the guests.
