Mr. and Mrs. Dan Price and son, Dannie of Front Royal were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. Price’s mother, Mrs. J. W. Price of “The Maples.” Miller (“Kitt”) Price of* Washington, D. C. was also home oil Sunday.
Mrs. H. C. Warwick of “Rockbottom” entertained at the Lee Highway Hotel Monday evening for dinner Mr. and Mrs. Rayner Snead and family, Rayner Jr., Dana and Sammy and their house guests, Mrs. Dorn, Mrs. Caroline Dorn and Mrs. Viola Kidde, Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead and family, John Peyton and Miss Betty Snead. Mr. an Mrs. I. F. Vannoy of Alexandria were dinner guests on Sunday < of Mrs. Vannoy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Jenkins. They were en route home from Nags Head, where they spent their vacation. Mrs. T. C. Lea and Mrs. Robert L. Massie left Wednesday with Miss Mary Massie Lea who will enter Hollins College as a sophomore this session. While there Mrs. Lea and Mrs. Massie will visit Mrs. Massie’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Kendrick Jr. On their return home they will be cwemight guests of Mrs. Lea’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Williams Gibson Whorton was in Washing-_ ton, D. C. on business Monday.
