Mr. and Mrs. Strachan and their two children of* Washington, D. C. spent last week With Mr. and Mrs. James F. Smith. On Friday aftefnoon Mrs. Smith entertained a group of youngsters for “Stevie’* who was celebrating his fourth birthday. The guests were Mike Brown, Roger Lee and Billy Anderson, Jo Ann Fox, "Bticky," Cathy and Louise Fletcher, Susan Schaefer, Doris Ann and Janis Lee Dodson, John Lee Taylor, Linda Sue Leake, Dorothy Lee Dodson, Danny Clater, P. Lee Thornton 111 and Jackie Brown. Mrs. Smith was assisted by Mrs. Kathleen Lawrence serving refreshments to the guests after a round of games.
Madame Purryaratabhan of Washington, D.C spent the weekend with Mrs. Jack Bruce and she was accompanied on her return to the city by her sons, who has spent the summer at “Jdckson Hill.”
