Among those from Sperryville who went to Flint Hill on Sunday night to attend services at the Methodist Church conducted by Ledford C. Vaughn, a student minister, were Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown, Elizabeth Smith, Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. This young man will be remembered as the son of Rev. and Mrs. L. C. Vaughn, who served the Rappahannock Charge several years ago. Rev. and Mrs. Vaughn who are now serving a pastorate at Lynchburg were at the morning services in the Methodist Church here on Sunday, when Rev. Vaughn was guest speaker.
Mrs. Silas Bruce spent several days last week at “Linger Longer” with Mrs. Mary G. Taylor.
Mrs. R. E. Wood spent Friday in Washington, D. C. on business.
Recent week-end guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Roy White Jr. and children, Mrs. E. H. White of Wnchester and Miss Barbara Brown of Arlington.
