C. where he had taken Mrs. Brown to join the other delegates from Virginia enroute to the convention of the Cadies’ Auxiliary of the Episcopal Church, which is being held in Boston.

Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Speake of College Park Maryland and granddaughters, f Carlyle and “Bobby” Hummelsin were guests of Mrs. Speake’s aunt, Mrs. Bartow Brown" and brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller of Maple Springs. The little girls are spending the summer wth their grandparents, while their parents are in Europe. Mr. Hummelsin, an assistant to the Secretary of State,-s abroad on business.
