Supervisors’ Meeting
The regular meeting of the Board of i Supervisors met Wednesday, October 1, at 10 a m., with W. C. Camphell, A. C. Latham, C. B. Wood, Edward Estes and J. P. Cook present. Mr. A. H. Buckner was not present. (Highlights of the meeting were minutes read and approved and regular bills paid. The outstanding ones were two sheep claims. One sheep of Mrs.. D. B. Smith’s killed by dogs was assessed at $25 and Joe W. Keyser was allowed $120 for four sheep killed.
P. B. Coldiron, State Highway Resident Engineer was present but no business was transacted.
G. B. Lyle and G. D. Edwards of the Shenandoah National Park, appeared before the board and proved to its satisfaction .that the road used by Mr. Bowen should not be abandoned because of its importance to the people of the county and to the Shenandoah National Park.
