An all-day uriion meeting was held at the Second Zion Baptist Church, Jefferson County, in West Virginia recently. Visiting ministers were: Elder Goodall ot Washington, D. C., Elder and Mrs. S". W. Timbers, Elcdr and Mrs. A. T. Flurry.

Licentiates: Brother Mose King of Linden, Aaron Fletcher, Johnny Jones of Millwood, Mrs. Mary A.* Timbers and Mrs. Ella Denis and daughter, Mrs. Gates Weathers, Lee Porter, Wilbur Fletcher, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jett, Mrs. Dorothy Turner, Mrs. Jennie Holmes, Gec^rge Weathers, and Wilbur Williams. Tire meeting was nice and everybody enjoyed themselves.

The Scrabble School Senior League "- met on Wednesday night. The president, Mrs. Lucy Childs, presided. The highlights of the night were as follows: 1. Plans for the dental 9 . clinic to he held at Scrabble School, 2. Try > to . have all children’s' teeth fixed, o. Have a regular time for meetings.

Miss Williams, principal, explained the findings and cost of dental clinic for each child. The meeting was largely attended. Every child who saw that a person came from their home to the meeting was given a prize. The persons present were Charlie Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Aylor, Mrs. Ollie Jackson, Mrs. Lora Jackson, Forest Frye, Mr. and Mrs. Asby Carpenter, Mrs. Peachie Washington, Mrs. Beulah Wallace, Mr. and Mrs. Appearson, Mrs. Lucy Childs, Wayne Kilby Miss Audrey Dennis, Mrs. Lib Dennis, Miss C. A. Williams and Mrs. B. B. Austin.

Come to Scrabble School on Friday night, October 3 to the Virginia Reel. Come and reel, firing several * people with you. Plenty of good music. Plenty of Good refreshments. The time is 8:30. Admission at the door.
