Mr. Fletcher and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton motored to Charlottesville to return with them. * Mrs. R. E. Wood and Miss Louise O’Bannon motored to New Market Saturday afternoon for a visit with Mrs. J. C. Crim and her daughter, Miss Samuella Crim.
Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey were shopping in Winchester on Saturday. W. N. Rector spent the weekend in Fauquier County with relatives and attended a union meeting at the Primitive Baptist Church in Upperville.
Mrs. W. O. Johnson and B. F. Estes, who spent last week with relatives here, returned to^North Wilksboro, North Carolna Saturday. They were joined in Charlottesville by Mrs. Robert Trogder, who made the return trip with them.
