CORRECT LABELS
Every prescription which the druggist makes up must be dearly labeled with the name of the preparation and the dosage instructions. If it is a preparation which requires refrigeration or special handling, those instructions must also be included on the label And of course, if the preparation is “poisonous unless used externally or is harmful in any way, this information must also be clearly shown. Labels, though seemingly insignificant, are extremely important in identifying the medicine and relaying the physician’s instructions tor its usage.
