Mrs. Nettie Teaford and son, Roscoe of Concholrocken, Pa. were guests of J. £. Orange and family on Tuesday.

Rev. Nathan Byrd of Charlottesville filled the pulpit for Rev. S. Felton Carter Sunday. He was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. C- B. Johnson Sunday and was supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson.

U. G. Carder returned to his home in Arlington, Sunday after a week’s visit with his neices, the Misses Johnson on Red Oak.

Emphasizes “Religion In

American Life”

A concerted effort through local Religion In American Life .program during November will seek to encourage increased attendance and support for all churches of Rappahannock County.

“Local campaign activities,” Rev. Menchhofer said, “will coincide with the nation-wide drive by the Religion In American Life movement to millions of Americans the importance of religion in personal and community life.” The national program will stress the value of religion in family life with the 1952 theme, “Show Them The Way . .
