After the game Mrs. Massie served refreshments and presented prizes which were won by Mrs. David Corbin for high score, Mrs. Emory Russell for traveling, and consolation went to Mrs. Charles Wood.
WS C4S. MEETING The Woman’s Society of Christian, Service met Thursday, November 20 with Mrs. R. H. Dulaney. Mrs. Frank Cary had charge of the program “New Ways of Evangelism” and Rev. Menchhofer gave a talk. Mrs. Barbara Gentry had change of the. Worship Program. The Society welcomed Mrs. Menchhofer as the social hour. Among those present were Mrs. M- R. Bradford, Mrs. Carl Carpenter, Mrs. J. P. Cook, Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Paul Miller, Miss Minnie Williams, Mrs. Carson Lillard and Mrs. David Menchhofer.

Mr and Mrs. G- W. Smith Jr. had as their guests last week Mrs. Smifh’s parents, Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Long of Grottoes. On Sunday Mrs. Smith’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Long were dinner guests of the Smiths and returned in the afternoon with Mr. Long’s parents.
