More Block Donors
To Amissrille VFD
Four more cinder block donors to the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department for its firehouse was announced by President Thomas Tear at the regular monthly meeting last week. The donors were Elmer C. Lillard who gave 200 blocks; John H. Williams who gave .200, Irva Poe and Richard Latham donated 100 blocks each. '' . The firehouse is now under construction.
Members of the department are considering erection of a permanent plaque to be mounted on the wall inside of the firehouse, that will carry the names of all those who ajded in its construction, including donors of cinder block.
