Usually tf»e trouble lies not in God’s lack of answering our prayers, but within us. We are trying to walk by sight and not by faith. We need not grow discouraged because our prayers aren’t answered immediately, even though our text seems to imply an immediate answer. Often while we are fretting in impatience God is bringing our request to pass. His work is rarely observable to the eye of man until it is completed. We must have die eye of faith in order to watch God at work.
