Miss Mildred Many, 12-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Many, of “Ivy Hill,” had the misfortune to fall from a swing at her home late Monday afternoon and factured the large bone in her right leg, just above the ankle. She had presence of mind enough not to step down with the injured foot, and so saved herself a much worse break.

Mildred said die broken leg was bad enough, but she hates worse to break her perfect attendance record at school. She has dispatched her father to see her teacher, Mrs. Keyser, in order that the teacher may send her lessons for her to get at home.
