Mr. Hitt is survived by one daughiter, Miss Lillian Hitt, Amissville; (three sisters, Mrs. Annie Weaver, (Mrs. Lucy Holmes, and Mrs. Eddie litt, of Amissville; two brothers, (Milton A. Hitt, Amissville and Hugh |H. Hitt of Arlington. Mr. Hitt, 85 years of age, was the Ison of the late Albert H. Hitt and [Mrs. Lucy Ann Hitt of Rappahan[ nock County. Active .pallbearers, were W. A. [Hitt, Mason Hitt, Irvin Holmes, [Eddie Robert Hitt, Harris Judd and |Walter Holmes. Honorary pallbearers were Graham ' Hackley, Dr. J. R. Boldridge, Clarence Payne, Charles Compton, Will Latham, Theodore Barron, Clarence James, John Lawrence, Ray James, Leslie Robbs, Callie Jhmes, O. K. Riley, A. C. Latham Jr., Landon Luttrell, Robert Corbin, Edward Taipp and others.
