Leroy Jenkins was selected to fill the unexpired term of Vice President at their monthly meeting in Belle Meade. Demonstration given was on finishes of a cotton dress.
Woodville 4-H Aet Thursday. Mrs. Ruth Orange, 4-H leader, gave a demonstration on dry cleaning your unwashables.
Washington Sr. 4-H club met Thursday and project work ipcvluded putting in zippers, hems, and collars.
The turkey dinner served by the 4-H county council was enjoyed by the many persons eating their dinner. The 4-H’ers wish to express their appreciation to their parents and 4-H leaders for cooperation and help in helping to make the dinner a success. Mrs. Lucy Hitt was hostess to the Amissville H. D. dub in March. The group welcomed Mrs. Virgie Bywaters. A nice collection was made for Pennie for Friendship. Demonstration was "New Fabrics and Selecting the Pattern for a Better Dress." Mrs. Eddie Gore entertained the F. T. Valley H. D. Thursday. Mrs. Mary Wood became a member of the club. This club also devoted Pennies for Friendship. Demonstration given was New Fabrics and Selecting the Pattern for a Better Dress.” s Softer fabrics dictate the season’s fashion. Filmy chiffons, sheers, and jerseys are draped into flowing lines. News is in the texture which is smoother and simple, sometimes with a shiny surface achieved through fiber weale or finish.
