A trip to visit Monticello and the gardens around Charlottesville will be April 28. We will leave Washingon at 8 a.m. and plan to be back here at 4:30 p.m. This is for all demonstration club members and their friends. Persons wishing to go please contact me, This will help with getting the right size bus. •Nancy Brown was selected finance chairman for Sperryville I 4-H club. The 4-H clubs are selling Southern Planters as means of making money for the club. At the club exhibit following ribbons were presented: Peachey Lyne, white; Nancy Brown, red; Myrla Ann Updike, blue; Esther Mae Fincham, red; Judy Hawkins, white. Mrs, Billy Brown, 4-H leader, acted as judge. At Belle Meade 4-H meeting Rachel Deal assumed responsibility of finance

The Madison College Glee Club, under the direction of Miss Edna T. Shaeffer will give a performance in the Sperryville School auditorium, Thursday, April 23, at 8 p.m. Admission is 50 cents for adults and children both.
