Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller of Maple Springs were Mrs, R. L. Massie, R. L. Massie Jr., and Mr». Massie's mother, Mrs. W. L. Kendrick of Front Royal.
Among those from Rappahannock who attended the Deep Run Hunt •club races in Richmond Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh, Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie III, Newbiil Miller, Jack Bruce, Buck Lewis and Bob Estes.
Newbiil Miller was a guest of his •cousins, Miss Frances Christian Newbill and Burnley Taylor Newbiil of Richmond. On Friday night, Newbiil was among the juniors who. were •entertained at a party given by a :tnember of the club. On Saturday the •club had a luncheon before the races. Saturday night he was a guest at "“The Golden Horse Shoe Ball.” On -Sunday afternoon the Hunt Trial Show took place at Strawberry Hill.
Mrs. J. W. Price of “The Maples” •entertained her son, C. M. Price and Miss Helen Elliott of Washington, D. C. On Sunday the Rev. Arthur Ribble and daughter, Miss Beverly Ribble were dinner guests of Mrs. , Price and her guests. Mr. Ribble conducted the 11 o’clock services at Trinity Episcopal church. ™"
