Drive Has April Snow ^
The weatherman dished out a bit of chilly spring for Monday and Tuesday, drbpping some snow on Skyline Drive and letting the frost nip the early potatoes.
Tourists reported Monday that they had been turned back from Skyline Drive because of a thin sheet of snow which made the toad dangerous. By afternoon the snow was gone.
Frost Tuesday night nipped young plants. It was thought that much harm would not result, since the wind had kept up strong all day Tuesday.
