Gives Concert April 23
The Madison College Glee Club, under the direction of Miss Edna T. Shaeffer will give a performance in the Sperryville School auditorium, Thursday, April 23, at 8 p.m. Admission is 50 cents for adults and children both. It is with expressions of appreciation that the people of Rappahannock may greet the glee club of Madison College when they arrive at SpertyvHle next Thursday night, April 23, to give a program of music. The appearance of a glee club is rare in the county, especially one as large and well-known as that of Madison College; the young ladies will give this program for the benefit of all three fire companies in the county. T With so many students from Rappahannock at Madison, there W extra interest in hearing the glee club. Miss Jo Ellen Worth, of Washington, is a member of the club. The county takes an extra interest since the president of Madison College, G. Tyler Miller, is a native of the county.
