MEETING
Mfs. B. H. .Weddle Jr. was hostess to the members of the Woman's Mis* sionary Society of Christian Service of the Methodist*church at her home ton Wednesday night at 7:30 o'clock. Nine members were present. In the absence of the president, Mrs. George W. Brown, vice president, presided and lead the devotionals with scrip* ture reading followed by prayer. “Have Thine Own Way” was the subject for the month. A playlet led by Mrs. Weddle, who had charge of the program with others taking party ■was greatly enjoyed. During the business session matters of interest pertaining to some repairs to the church were discussed at the conclusion of the routine business. Mrs. Weddle served refreshments and a most enjoyable social hour was spent.
Birth Announcement
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Harrington announce the birth of a son, Michael Warren, bom Thursday, April 9, at University Virginia Hospital. Mrs. Harrington is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Weaver. Mr. Harrington is assistant manager at Leggetts in Culpeper.
