5 Vicious Dogs Destroyed
C Ennis Brown, game warden, was called Thursday, April 9, to the Ingersoll farm near Castleton to destroy five dogs which had attacked and badly mutilated a calf.
Marvin Dodson of Castleton notified the game warden, saying he had beat the five dogs off the calf after they had attacked the animal. The game wardn destroyed the five dogs. He described them as aH curs, one of medium size and the other four soMumadaig* /
All the dogs had tags and had been vaccinated for rabies, So there was no danger of disease. Investigation, stated the game warden, showed the dogs b«longe4 to Virgil ^Wlgington (colored) of pear Castleton, and that the dogs roamed most of the time and stayed home very little.
