Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and two children, Peachey and David spent the week end in Arlington with Mr. Lyne’s sister, Mrs. Cabell Powell.
Mrs. Annie G. Bruce was a weekend guest of her neice, Mrs. B. M. Miller and Mr. Miller in Washington.
Elder and Mrs. J, H. 'Daily were dinner guests on Saturday of Mrs. W. B. McIntyre in Front Royal. They were enroute to Martinsburg, West Virginia where they were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Barr and they were joined there by Elder Dairy’s brother, WillieDaily and Mrs. Daily of Washington, D. C. On Sunday morning at 10 o’clock Mr. Daily held services at Newton Baker hospital, later preaching at 11 o’clock and his brother was guest speaker in the afternoon at the Martinsburg church. Dinner was served to the congregation in the basement of the church. Elder and Mrs. Daily returned to Sperryville Monday after an overnight visit with Mrs. Wilmer Carpenter in Berryville.
