There will he a turkey dinner and •program *t the Hopewell Baptist church, Sperryville, Sunday, April T9. Dinner served from 1 p.m. to 3 p,m. Program follows dinner program by Virginia Songbirds and the Dixie Travelers.
A Fashion Show will be presented ;at the Flint Hill School, Thursday, April 23 at 8 p.m. This show is given for the benefit of the Macedonia - Sunday School, sponsored by Mrs. Margaret Jordan.
Miss Josephine Bridgett was an ► overnight guest of Miss Catherine Fredlnan recently.
Mrs. Margaret Hunter motored to New York last week with her son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Coaxum. While there she will take treatments for her legs.
Mr. and Mrs. George Evens, Mrs. Havannah Jeffries and Willie Hunt■ er were in D. C. for the day Tuesday. While there they went to see Hampton Jeffries who is in the hospital. He seems to be resting very nicely.
