In the monthly meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Wednesday, June 1, the discussion centered on the county roads.
The board voted to place the following ro^ds in the secondary system of highways in Rappahannock County. First, extension of Route 663 about 0.35 mile to Benny Pullen's gate, in Wakefield Magisterial District. Second, a certain road commonly called “The Jackson Road," situate within Jackson Magisterial District. Third, a certain road, situate in Jackson Magisterial District commencing at intersection rof Rt. 642, thence at N: E. direction of .8 of a mile. - --
The bo'ard also voted to abandon certain sections of Route 729. Those sections to be abandoned are shown on a plat filed with the Board by the Resident Engineer of the State Highway Department.
