Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jenkins and. daughter, Geraldine are visiting friends in Alabama. A large crowd attended the Variety Show at the fire house last Wednesday night. It was sponsored by the Rebeckers Ledge of Culpeper. A cake, baked by Mrs. M. E. Compton, was chanced off. It brought $1.80, which was given to the Ladies Auxiliary of Amissville. Mrs. McDanal and children of Arlington have been visiting Mrs. McDanal’s sisters and father, Misses Marion and Lucille Riley and Keith Riley. Mrs. William Smith and daughter of Culpeper spent a few days last week with Mrs. Elmer Jenkins.
