Mr. and Mrs. George J. Bentley, daughter and grandson, Mrs. Robert E. Reiser and Bob, of Washington, D. C. spent the week end at the Bentley farm, enroute to Camp Briar Hills, Brownsburg where Bob will go to camp. Mrs. Bentley’s cousin, Gen. and Mjs. A. A. Vandergrift, a retired marine general, of Charlottesville were Sunday guests of the Bentleys. -’
Mrs. D. D. Miller was a guest over the week end of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Link at Nokesville. D. D. Miller motored to Nokesville on Sunday for the day and returned with Mrs. Miller in the evening.
Clarence Racer saw the Washington Senators win a double header from the New York Yankees on the Senators’ home field, Griffith Stadium, on Sunday.
