Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Dearing went to Skyline Drive for a picnic on Saturday evening. Their guests were Mrs. John Barbour and children, Ted and Charlotte, Lawrence Jackson and Rev. and Mrs. Davis. Francis Carter returned home Tuesday after being a patient in Warren County Hospital for 37 days.
James Dade is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Barbour were Mr. and Mrs. Kedrick Roberts of Richmond, John Barbour, Carl Jackson, Percy Mann, Marcellus Mann, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bailey and son; Miss Christine Rol>erts of Washington, D. C. Mrs. Barbour entertained her company at a picnic dinner on the lawn Sunday afternoon. When they returned home. Miss Charlotte went with them for a visit of a week with her aunts and her sister.
Mr. and Mrs. James Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Norah Johnson and children of Harrisburg, Penna., and Miss Ressie Matthews and George Chunn of Front Royal, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Patterson.
Mr. McKinley Weber and Mrs. Ella Dennis were in Luray, Monday on business.
Mrs. James Dade and daughter, Mary, spent last week in Penna.
Mrs. Margaret Freeman and son, Billy and Stevenson are spending some time with Miss Willie Hunter in Maryland.
Mrs. Marie Bailey and Louemma Fletcher returned Saturday from Camp Carry, a Sunday School camp. They reported to have had a very nice week.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Timbers of, Washington, D .C. were Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Timbers. <>
