Mrs. Earl Edmonds was a Tuesday evening bridge guest of Mrs. John S. Browning.

Frances Wood is 'spending this week with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gay of Norfolk.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Wood and son, .Burrell, who were in Blacksburg on business the past week, returned home Saturday. Their two daughters, Armenta and Ruth remained with _ their grandmother, Mrs. Dudley - Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Brue Wood. Overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. David Corbin on Friday was Mr. Corbin’s sister, Mrs. C. F. Sheehan Jr. of Warrenton. Frank Corbin was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. David Corbin.
Mr. and Mrs. W, j. Kendrick Jr. and son, David of Roanoke were the week-end guests of Mrs. R.L. Massie. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Kendrick and son, David and Mrs R. L. Massie wer$ dinner guests of Mrs. W. J. Kendrick on Sunday. ' H. S. Barksdale is attending a Vocational Agriculture Convention at VPI this week. L. V. Merrill and Aubrey North spent several days last week at Ocean City. Miss Ginger Russell is a guest of her grandmother in Orleans.
