Mr. and Mrs. Benny Murry and ton, Benny Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher and two little children, Caroline Ann and Brenelle of Pa. were recent guests of Mrs. Mirah Fletcher. Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher, upon returning to their home in Pa., took with them their tw6 children who had been the guests of Mrs. Fletcher for the past three weeks.
Nannie Starks attended the Culpeper Horse Show on Saturday. Mrs. Catherine Williams and Mr. A. B. Jones of Washington, D. C. were week-end guests of Mrs. Nannie Starks.
On Monday, Mrs. Nannie Starks spent the day in Winchester shopping.
Miss Nancy Freeman and Mr. and Mrs. Riley Porter were week end guests of Mattie Freeman.
Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Bridges were home for the day Sunday.
Mrs. Jack Freeman and two sons have gone to Washington, D. C. to spend two weeks.
Rev. and Mrs. William Burnette and family of Pittsburg, (Pa., were guests of Rev. Burnette’s sister, Mrs. Francis Carter.
Mrs. Louis Carter and grandson, Junior came home after having spent three weeks in Washington, D. C. with Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Walls. They brought their granddaughter, Deborah, hack with them.
Mrs. Caroline Carter spent several days last week in Philadelphia with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Saunders. Returning with her was little Russell Saunders Jr. who will spend the summer with Mrs. Carter.
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Edwards and son, Donald and Mrs. Esther Whitehead were week-end guests of Mr.-and Mrs. Hugh D. Starks. Donald remained with Mr. and Mrs. Starks for a month’s visit.
Mrs. A. G. Richardson had as her week-end guests Dr. and Mrs. Melvin Jenkins and daughters of Washington, D. C.
