Mt. Salem Organizes
Sunday School Dept.
In an organization meeting Sunday afternoon, Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Rock Mills elected officers for a Sunday School Department addition to their recently re-opened Church.
James Burke was elected as the Sunday School’s Superintendent with Miss Mary E. Smoot elected as the Assistant Superintendent. For the responsible position of Secretary-Treasurer the 25 persons present chose Miss Corine Burke. t
Miss Smoot also will teach [the combined Beginner and Primary Department, with James Burke teaching the Juniors and Miss Martha Smoot, the Intermediates. A teacher for the Adult Class has not been choosen. Sunday School will be held each Sunday at 2:30.
