Mr. and Mrs. Edward Einer 2nd daughter, Miss Joyce Einer of Los Angeles, California accompanied Miss Minnie Williams home and were her guests from Wednesday until Sunday. They then motored to Bon AiT where they will visit Mr. and^-Mrs. Frank Clark.

Mr. and Mrs? Warren Frank of Luray were guests on Sunday of Mrs. George Settle and Miss Kate Walker.

The many friends of “Tommy” Gilbert were distressed to hear of his son’s accident. The youth was struck by a car and is now a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital. t

Mrs. Kathleen Lyne of Alexandria spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cary.

Miss Phyllis Verner was an overnight guest recently at her home here.

Miss Mary Jenkins visited Mrs. Kate Petty at the Winchester Memorial Hospital last Saturday. Mrs. Petty’s health is improved.

Mrs. Johnnie Huff was a Monday guest of Mrs. Russell Pullen.

Johnnie Huff is spending a few days with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Flynn of Washington, D. C.

Mrs. Ida-Keyser of Rixeyville is spending several weeks with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Romie Pullen._.

Ollie Alther of Washington, D. C. spent several days with her mother, Mrs. Molly Alther.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Newton •of Mt. Rainer, Maryland spent the week end with Mrs. Newton’s aunt, Mrs, S. A. Beahm, Sr.
