Bowie and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce S. Bowie attended an open house at Cooper-Trent of Va., Inc. in Arlington on Saturday. While there they saw actual demonstrations of new equipment and processes in the printing industry. Along with other printers in the Virginia State Printers Association, Inc., they were entertained at a buffet luncheon, before the demonstrations. ----v
Hampton Gives $54
Fifty-four dollars and 50 cents was contributed by Hampton District in the Emergency Polio Drive recently concluded. Among the final contributors were Rappahannock County High School,, the Washington Colored School,, and Harvey Clanaghan.
The Rappahannock Garden Club will meet with Mrs. C. E. —Johnson, Jr., Wednesday, September 29'at 2 o’clock.
