The Rappahannock County Future Farmers of America held their first meeting on Tuesday, September 17 at 11 o’clock The object of the meeting was to elect the 1954-55 officers. They were elected as follows : President, Don Liscomb; Vice-President, Jimmy Wayland; Secretary, Dickie Atkins; Treasurer, Henry Hudson; Reporter, Robert Thornhill; Sentinel, Bill Leake; and advisor, R. C. J>onard. They also discussed the purchase of F. F. A. jackets.
The Virginia State Fair in Richmond was discussed in detail. It was decided that only Jrs.. and Srs. would attend this year. There are 50 members enrolled in F.F.A. this year.

To Missionary Soc’ty
Mrs. H. B. Winfrey was hostess and program leader at the Woman’s Missionary Society of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church which met at Sunstroke Manor, Saturday afternoon. Six members answered to the roll call and the subject for the lesson was “The Youth of Today.”
