The students also were taught how to follow a diet chart for various illnesses.
At the end of the course, the Amissville class joined with the Washington, Va., class for graduation exercises. These were held in Washington, Va., at the First Baptist Church, July 23, under the direction of Miss Mary Miller Wood of Washington and Mr. Frederick of Culpeper.
There were pfayers, songs and a talk on the importance of Red Cross First Aid Home Nursing.
Each graduate received a certificate of Red Cross First Aid Home Nursing and a Red Cross button.
