Washington H. D. club reorganized their club for the coming year at their regular meeting Tuesday evening. President elects ed was Mrs. Jessie Rowzie; Vice President, Mrs. Charles Bruce; Sec.-Treas., M rs. Mabel Racer.
Sperryville I 4-H members held meeting Tuesday. Committee appointed to prepare exhibit for Achievement Day with help of their leader, Mrs. Ann Thompson were Lee Thornton III, Frank Jarvis and Nancy Dodson.
Frank Jarvis and Lee Thornton, gave a demonstration on electrifying a lamp.
During project work the group discussed value of eating the right foods using the Basic Seven chart!
Betty Kay Kilby told of goals of the 4-H council at the regular meeting of Belle Meade 4-H clyb. Achievement Dav committee appointed were: Garfield Jenkins, Tommy Jenkins, Charlotte Jenkins, Betty Kay Kilby. During health project work eating the right foods were stressed.
Sperryville II 4-H club elected a new vice president, Lea Smith. Achievement Day committee appointed were Edna Yates Schaefer, Carolyn Brown, Manley Bruce, and Jack Rutherford. 4-H leader working with this club is Mrs. Anne Aylor.
The girls exhibited sewing boxes and began to make a towel.
