AMENDMENT — from' page 1 State. Generally in this section, it was defeated. Fauquier, Orange and Madison opposed its passage, with Orange’s vote of 547-597 and Madison’s of 279-241 registering a small margin of victory for the against. Fauquier County voted down the bill. However, Warren County voted in favor of the amendment, 1090 to 555.
CONDITION IMPROVED
R. H. Scroggins is reported to be in a slightly improved condition. He remains a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital.
