Amissville Athletics Vie With 10 Clubs In NorthernVa. League

The county’s newest baseball dub, the . Amissville. Athletics, sponsored by the Junior Volunteer , Firemen of the community, was officially admitted into the Northern. Virginia League, Monday night. -T

They will play teams frogi Warrenton, Opal, Remington, Manassas, Marshall, Hume, Upperville, The Plains and Charles Town, West Virginia, League play will open May 1st. .

The Athletics, under the leadership of Alan Poe, manager, and Braxton James, coach and field manager, are planning die purchase of green, and white uniforms, based partly on proceeds from $10 sponsorships of individuals and businesses..
