Mrs. Margaret Hunter spent a few days in Baltimore, Maryland with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hunter. She was accompanied from Washington, D. C. with her daughter, Miss Willie Hunter. Pvt. Mevis L. Jordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Jorddn of Flint Hill, is undergoing basic training at Camp Gordon, Ga., having joined the Army in January 18th, 1955. Word has been received that Pvt. Jordon will soon be home on leave. - Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Jackson and family ol Fairfax spent the day with their mother, Hattie Jackson. In the afternoon Mrs. Hattie Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Jackson visited their brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jackson on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher.
