topic “Reproduction as Affected by Vitamin Contents of Feed.” » A native of Shawano, Wisconsin, Dr. Engel received his Ph B and Ph D from the University of Wisconsin. While in college he held a three year fellowship as guidance leader in an undergraduate dormitory, and a three-year graduate research fellowship. . From 1939 to 1943 he was associate nutritionist at the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station, leaving there for a three year service in the U. S. Army. He returned to Alabama as animal nutritionist in 1946 and remained there until coming to V. P. I. in 1952. He is at present secretary of the American Institute of Nutrition, and a member of the American Chemical Society Federation of Experimental Biologists. - -1--——i— -
