The Flint Hill Garden Club met Wednesday evening, March 16 with Mrs. William Gilbert. Eight members and one visitor were present.
Mrs. G. W. Profitt gave an interesting talk on perenials.
After the meeting, refreshments were served by the hostess.
Miss Minnie Williams was a week-end guest of Mrs. Robert L. Massie. Saturday, Mrs. Massie and house guest went to see her mother, Mrs. W. J. Kendrick of Front Royal.
Miss Ruth Stevens and Mrs. Russell Wood were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Dudley Wood and family, Mr. and Mrs. Brue \yood of Sunny Slope.
Mrs. J. P. Cook left Friday for Richmond where she visited her sister, Mrs. Emma Coppage and Mrs. James Day. Saturday, Mrs. Cook joined her son, Wilmer and Mrs. Emily Flournoy and daughter, Christine and motored to Lovingston where they were dinner guests of Mrs. Cook’s son and * daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Cook. In the afternoon, Mrs. Cook, Mr. Cook, Mrs. Flournoy and Chrj^tine motored to Mrs. Cook’s home in Flint Hill. Other members of the Cook family who joined them for the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker . and son, Douglas and Miss Margaret Cook of Arlington and Bob Cook of Front Royal.
