Mrs. Virgil H. Griffith of Luray spent Friday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Woodward. Mrs. Edward Woodward, who has a position in Norfolk, has been spending this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrt. C. H. Woodward.
Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Woodward had as their guests on Monday their granddaughter, Mrs. Jesse Williams and baby of Norfolk.
Allen King of Arlington and Dearl Cloud of Falls Church were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Cloud.
Mrs. Edward Woodward and Mrs. Bessie Woodard spent Wed-' nesday with her mother, Mrs. Mollie Alther and family. 1
Mrs. Mollie Alther received word that her sister, Mrs. J. S. Cornwell, is still a patient in the University of Virginia Hospital where she has undergone a leg amputation. Her condition if fair.
OUie Alther spent the week end at her home.
Mr.^and Mrs. Gene Jenkins of Frederick, Maryland spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Clopd.
Gerald Brown, who has recently been discharged from military duty arrived on Thursday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown. Charles Brown of V. P. I., is also spending a few days leave at his home here. Weekend guests in the Brown home were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brown and Miss Jean Brown of Richmond. On Saturday, Mrs. Maury Brown and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Allen Brown and her daughter, Miss Jean Brown visited their daughter and sister, Mrs. Phyllis Brown Shirey in Front Royal.
