in Front Royal, April 15. Delegates will assemble at Sperryville School on the regular school bus. A special bus will pick up these delegates plus Flint Hill and Reager cnroute and transport all to Front Royal. Each school sis asked to submit orally at the Division meeting a brief accurate report of S. C. A. work-in the school for the 1954-55 session.
James A. Estes James Absalom Estes, prominent citizen and merchant of Sperryville, died at bis home Tuesday, March 15th after a long period of declining health. , ' '
Mr. Estes, 91 years of age, was
son of the late Columbus Estes and the late Mrs. Letha Yates Estes of Rappahannock County. He was a stewart of the Sperryville Methodist Churchy active in civic organizations and an honorary member of the $perryville Masonic Lodge No. 220 A F and , A M, a Past Master of the Lodge.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Lee1 Swindler, Mrs. Roy Swindler and Mrs. Joseph R. Deavers of Sperryville; 3 sons, Charles, Bob, and Edward of Sperryville; 3 brothers, Charles E. Estes of Los Angeles, California, Harry of Mt. Airy, N. C., and Benjamin F. of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; and 1 sister, Mrs. J. W. McClaskey of Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon from the Sperryville "^Methodist Church with burial in the Sperryville Cemetery. The, Rev. Harold Thach and the Rev. C. C. Jones officiated at the services. Masonic rites were conducted by George L. Green of Culpeper. ,
